Early voting in New York State starts tomorrow, offering residents the chance to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day on November 4. Polling places across the state will be open daily until early voting concludes on November 2. Voters can visit any assigned early voting center in their county, except in New York City, where they are assigned to a specific site.
According to the New York State Board of Elections, early voting is conducted similarly to Election Day voting, with ballots being privately marked and scanned. The results from early voting will be included in the unofficial election night totals.
Voters experiencing issues at the polls can contact the Election Protection Hotline for assistance. The Attorney General's office emphasizes that everyone has the right to vote free from intimidation and coercion.
Tomorrow is also the deadline to register to vote or request an early mail or absentee ballot for the 2025 General Election. For more information on registration and voting options, residents can visit the New York State Board of Elections website.
